The RedHawks are trying to put together a program called “Lacrosse Buddies” similar to those currently in place in Rec. Soccer and Flag Football.
Lacrosse Buddies is a program which pairs Special Needs children with Volunteers called “Buddies”! Each player is matched with their own buddy for the entire season which runs from March 2009 through early May 2009.
Full equipment including lacrosse sticks, helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves and mouth guards for players is needed! If interested in playing or volunteering to be a buddy, please e-mail Barbara Crowley at hrbocawest@aol.com!
