The Palm Beach Atlantic lacrosse program is one of the top rising lacrosse programs in the South. Established in 2002, PBA men’s lacrosse has been growing steadily since its’ inception. Palm Beach Atlantic is located in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida (avg. temperature: 78 degrees), just one mile from the Atlantic Ocean and situated on the Intracoastal Waterway. PBA is lead by Chris Southard, entering his seventh season as head coach.
More recently, the Sailfish won a Florida Lacrosse League regular season championship in 2007 before moving to the Southeast Lacrosse Conference. Since then, the SELC’s DII-South Region has become home for PBA, playing teams like Eckerd College, the University of North Florida and Coastal Carolina University. In addition, PBA competes against MCLA Division I opponents like the University of Miami and USF.
PBA lacrosse bases itself on Christian principles and a strong sense of community. If you like to read more about becoming a part of the Sailfish lacrosse community, please visit our recruiting page.
